The Actions of the Act

At Eco-Beachtech, technology and ecological awareness combine to achieve results. A comprehensive framework for action, based on research and best practices, is implemented to provide long-term protection for Mediterranean coastlines.

Geospatial database of Lesbos, Lemnos, and Cyprus

A digital platform and an Integrated Decision Support System are being created so that the competent authorities can manage the coastline based on scientific data.

Studies for the Location of Undersea Sand Deposits

Research and mapping of underwater sand deposits in the wider marine area of the pilot beaches (Lesbos, Lemnos, Cyprus).

Automated Beach Monitoring Systems

Installation and operation of four (4) automated beach monitoring systems, consisting of a camera, weather station, computer, and wave gauge

Experimental Pilot Project on Artificial Reefs (Cyprus)

Construction and installation of one (1) experimental underwater artificial reef project in Cyprus, with a length of at least 100 meters
